“ This was our first time at River Nile Cafe, and it was delicious! The best Chicken Salad sandwich I've had so far the avocado and greens were so fresh, and the bread was soft but thick. The soup of the day was a tomato soup it was so creamy and flavorful. I couldn't help but get a side of the steak fries, so crispy and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we chose to get a creme brulee cheesecake so creamy and soft. The service was excellent, and our waitress was very sweet. I would definitely recommend trying this place! ”

“ Coming here never disappoints. Love the fresh bread, love the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake tastes like the bottom of a tux cake. It's honestly one of the best chocolate ganache I've had. Not too sweet, chocolate isn't too bitter, Creamy. 100% recommended you try this cake if you're ever in town. ”

“ I stopped by here yesterday mid-afternoon to try this place out. I didn't even realize it was here until noticing the signage. However, I went inside and the atmosphere is very calm and very quiet, very tranquil place. It was pretty busy when I was there but it was also closer to closing time. The waitress was incredibly friendly and polite and apologize several times to me about the weight, but there was no way I only had to wait a few minutes and my food came out quickly. It was also incredibly delicious, I hope the next time try some over there pastries but for this visit i just had a club sandwich, and to be honest I was a little skeptical after seeing the bun on it, but holy smokes. Smokes the bread on this club sandwich was so amazing, I've never had one quite like it, it's not quite a traditional club but it's pretty close. With some kind of dip, both were absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend. And I don't even like sweet potato fries but these were really good. ”

“ That was the best lunch in dothan for sandwiches. I had the onion soup and a 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. The soup was awesome. Not over salted like most around here and the bread was perfect with a bomb chik sal!!! The service was friendly and very on top of things. This is a hidden gem for the dothan culinary scene... great raspberry tea. ”

“ Great little Cafe. The food was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and made menu suggestions. I had the hummus appetizer. It was creamy with a nice mild flavor. Great starter. I had the soup and sandwich lunch. The roasted red pepper soup was fantastic. The turkey and Swiss sandwich was good but don't overlook the chicken salad. ”

“ We had a yummy experience at River Nile today! The beignets are a standout. The bagel, croissant and biscuit were all fresh and delicious, and we left with a fresh loaf of sundried tomato bread. Will definitely be back soon! ”
